Libyan Sharmoola (Libyan Salad)



Ingredients:

Cucumber
Fresh hot peppers (banana pepper, chilli pepper, cayenne pepper)
Onion
Tomato
Olive oil
Salt
Amounts depend on how much you want to make.

Directions:
 
Finely chop cucumber


 If using an English cucumber, no need to peel or seed it.


Finely chop hot peppers, don't add the seeds.


Finely chop  a bit of onion


Chop  some tomato, garden fresh are the best!

Now you have your finely chopped cucumber, tomato, onion, cayenne pepper, banana pepper and chili pepper.


Put all the ingredients in a bowl.


Mix all the vegetables together.

 Drizzle some olive oil over the vegetables.


Add some salt (to taste)


Squeeze the salad with your hand to get all the juices out and mixed together.


Juicy and ready to serve.


Sharmoola is usually eaten with bread, (pita bread, monkey bread, buns) ENJOY!
